The company’s head office is based in Centurion, just south of Pretoria and with agencies and/or auditors located at major cities/towns we are able to provide an effective service throughout South Africa .

Unlike many other certification bodies, ALPHA CERTIFICATION SERVICES only provides a certification service rather than an ‘add on’ to an inspection or laboratory function. We focus on a practical, business orientated attitude by using :

ALPHA CERTIFICATION SERVICES has controls in place to ensure impartiality and conflict of interest throughout all of the audit stages and in the final decision regarding certification. An independent impartiality committee has been established to advise on matters affecting confidence in conflict of interests, certification, the impartiality of audits, certification and decision making processes.

COMPLAINTS

If any formal complaint against organisations certificated by ALPHA CERTIFICATION SERVICES or our service provided to our valued customers is received via e-mail/fax this is formally handled according to our Complaints Procedure (which is available upon request). All complaints are addressed and feedback given to the complainant in writting.

ISO 9001:2008 CERTIFICATION

ALPHA CERTIFICATION SERVICES has obtained accreditation through the Southern African National Accreditation Scheme (SANAS) (accreditation number C14).

With SANAS having mutual recognition schemes with other International accreditation bodies and being a member of the International Accreditation Forum, ALPHA CERTIFICATION SERVICES is able to issue ISO 9001 certification to organisations that is Internationally recognized and accepted.

AMOSA CERTIFICATION

ALPHA CERTIFICATION SERVICES has been awarded the contract from the Professional Movers Association (PMA) to audit and certificate furniture removal organisations to the Accredited Mover of PMA S.A. (AMOSA) Standard.

The AMOSA standard was generated with the assistance of ALPHA CERTIFICATION SERVICES to provide a minimum standard for the furniture removal industry. This standard has been established to ensure that furniture removal companies provide the best possible service to their clients and that they have the resources and expertise to do so.

Prior to becoming a member of the PMA an organization is subjected to an assessment to ensure that the AMOSA has been met and then ongoing audits to ensure continued compliance.
